| Charred Ruins of Notre Dame Cathedral |
A massive blaze has destroyed large parts of the 850-year-old Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris, France. Notre Dame Cathedral is an architectural icon of France, Christendom, and indeed, Western civilization. The blaze spectacularly ripped out and destroyed the famous spire at the top of the Cathedral.
